Choosing the Right Yoga Props
Props are not a shortcut — they are tools that let you hold a posture with better alignment and less strain, especially while you're still building flexibility and strength.
"The right prop turns a difficult pose into an accessible one."
A good yoga mat with enough grip prevents slipping in standing poses. Blocks bring the floor closer to your hands in forward folds and twists, while a bolster supports restorative poses and helps the body relax fully into a stretch.
Start with a mat, one or two blocks and a strap — you can build your collection as your practice grows.
